<image:title>Great American Eclipse - Buffalo and White Rivers, Arkansas</image:title>
<image:caption>A memorable event for anyone that had the opportunity to experience this astronomical miracle. During the totality phase, time seemed to stand still, to hold its breath. The wind stopped blowing, the air temperature dropped, and I could hear coyotes barking/howling in the distance. The high clouds contributed to a lovely warm glow on the horizon - as if it was sunrise or sunset. And if you look closely, you can see planets Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and Mars, and three stars that I can't identify. Then, after three minutes, POOF! It was over.</image:caption>

Heavy rains during the last week of October, 2020 caused flash flooding throughout the area, including here. I watched the water level increase from little more than a trickle to the level you see here in 30 minutes. It was the most bizarre thing I've ever seen in nature.</image:caption>
